The department has got a seminar room where a "general club" is held every fortnight. This is also equipped by a projector and multimedia through which teaching material (slides / transparencies) can be displayed on screen and discussed.

The department maintains a "record section" where the academic and miscellaneous record are maintained including attendance, results of evaluations and examinations, Annual Sports, Transports, Telephone Exchange System, Medical College Entry Tests and Convocation - to name a few.

It is mention worthy that the high standard of record keeping in Forensic Medicine Department is envied by other basic departments.

Recently a "First-Aid Centre" has been established in the department and started satisfying the needs of students in case they require advice / help / medicine for then medical emergencies.

This centre is the brainchild of Dr. Aamir Bashir, Head of the Department who involved the students of 3rd year MBBS and established this free-aid service.
