In today’s Hi-tech world
it is essential that the student should be
computer literate.
Medical informatics is
emerging as a field in itself. The college
has planned to give to students a basic
introduction to computers and teach them
their application in clinical epidemiology,
biostatistics and decision making. Programs
have been developed that will teach students
to become proficient in electronic
literature retrieval, computer assisted
instruction and access to electronic
information networks.
A full-fledged
Information Technology Department under the
command of Director Information Technology
and under the supervision of a qualified
computer science graduate has been
established. The department is computerizing
and preserving the academic record of
students. The information technology
department is connected through networking
with the lecture theaters for video
recording of lectures and monitoring
students attendance through thumb printing
machine.

University of Health
Sciences with the assistance of Higher
Education Commission has established a
Computer Research and Resource Laboratory in
the Department on Information Technology.
